VETERINAIRES SANS FRONTIERES (VSF)

A long terme, VSF vise toujours

Long before
"virtuous cycle" became a cliché, our founder, Robert Nathan, knew that in a
competitive system of markets and prices the advantage gained from innovation would be
rewarded and lead to further innovation. Competition promotes economic growth and
development by driving innovation and rewarding success. At Nathan Associates,
we provide clients with solutions powered by an understanding of the economics of
competition, innovation, and reward.
Our understanding of the costs and benefits of a competitive
system of markets and prices derives from our experience developing and providing expert
economic testimony in antitrust litigation, including class actions, and estimating the damages from anti-competitive behavior. Internationally, we develop and
help implement trade policy that allows expansion of geographic markets and wider
dispersion of the benefits of competition.

UNICEF believes that the protection of children is crucial to their survival, health, and well-being. Unfortunately, millions of children are exploited, millions are abused, millions are victims of violence. Every day, they are bought and sold, imported and exported like consumable things. Children are forced to be soldiers, prostitutes, sweatshop workers, servants.
Abuse, exploitation and violence disgraceful as they are usually occur in private. They are often elements in organized crime and corruption. only time reveals the consequences: children uneducated, unhealthy and impoverished.
UNICEF believes that everyone has a responsibility to see that children are safe. We work with individuals, civic groups, governments and the private sector to help create protective environments for them. Healthy, nurturing surroundings allow children to resist abuse and avoid exploitation. Caring environments fortify children against harm in the same way that proper nutrition and good health care fortify them against disease.
If you want to make an active and lasting contribution to build a better world for children and match the profile outlined, send a detailed curriculum vitae in English, AND a duly completed United Nations Personal History form, quoting VN-04-122 to: Human Resources Officer (WCARO), UNICEF, 3 United Nations Plaza (TA-26B), New York, N.Y. 10017, USA.
